Anika developed this course after 15 years as an international flight attendant and trainer with Qantas  Airways, constantly living in different timezones, as well as constantly changing shift times. It took her 7 years just to learn how to LIVE with shiftwork, and she shares all her knowledge with you in this course.

 

This course is unique in that it doesn't just tell you what you 'should' do - it gives you amazing tools that professionals use to get your body's energies back into the "time slot" you want to be, gently ensuring your body works as normal despite being at work in the dark or at night, or in another timezone!

    deeper & more satisfying sleep

  • Stress-proof your mind and have strong, positive mental health

  • Stress-proof your body and build resilience with healthy habits and nutrition

All of A.P.K.A. courses are taught following the principles of Super-Learning

which consists of verbal explanation of the information, followed by a visual demonstration, and then followed by physical practice of the technique by the participants during the workshop, to cement the new learning into the mind and body of the learner.

Topic 1

Regulate Your Body Clock

Understand & Regulate your Wake/Sleep Cycle - known as your Circadian Rhythym.

Understand the role that light/ and dark plays in your sleep, hormones, energy levels, hunger and your fat gain or loss.

​

Reset your own body clock to the time slot you want to be in.

 

For example, if you wake to go to work at 8pm, resetting your body clock to be at 7am will give you energy to work all night.

Learn points to hold on your body that bring on relaxation of the whole body instantly, and allow for better sleep.
